Great! Now let’s move on to the most important part of the article, the B–school essays!

Chicago Booth B-School MBA Essays Questions

All aspiring MBA candidates are required to submit responses to the following two questions for this year’s MBA Admission cycle.  

Q1. How will a Booth MBA help you achieve your immediate and long-term post-MBA career goals? (Minimum 250 words, no maximum.)

Q2. An MBA is as much about personal growth as it is about professional development. In addition to sharing your experience and goals in terms of your career, we’d like to learn more about you outside of the office. Use this opportunity to tell us something about who you are… (Minimum 250 words, no maximum.)

Apart from that, Chicago Booth provides an optional essay question to help candidates deal with any “unclear information in your application.” 

The question follows as- Is there any unclear information in your application that needs further explanation? (Maximum 300 words.)

This could be a great chance for someone to explain their Switching of jobs at regular intervals, delay in promotions, Low GPA, Low IR score, or anything you find important enough to describe the circumstances in front of the adcom; fairly; this is your opportunity!  

Also, for every Reapplicant, there is an additional question to answer which follows as

Q1- Upon reflection, how has your perspective regarding your future, Chicago Booth, and/or getting an MBA changed since the time of your last application? (Maximum 300 words.)

Booth MBA Essays: Understand How to Write Essays That Inspires

Wow, a lot of interesting prospects! Before dealing with each question individually, let’s go with our basic motto – “the truest answer is the best answer.” hence, whenever you start, make sure you introspect well and write from your heart!

Coming to the technicality of the first question, a simple repeated question for every top B-school, all you need is a good overall linking of all your core elements molded together to form stellar examples to be used in your B-school essay question. The most important thing here is to try aligning your personal values to the school values. For your information, you could refer to Stanford MBA Essays; it would give you more specific insights into the question!

The second question, Ahh…an outside-the-box question! Well, not a surprise anymore. Dealing with several sets of top B-school essays, we came across several prospects (especially in the optional section) put forward by B-school to gauge uniqueness, creativity, and diversity in experience! You can refer to the optional question of Wharton or the Standard Harvard question for the cycle 2023!

For the reapplicant essay, the most important thing to consider is your growth in terms of personal life and professional career. Putting it more simply, How much did you grow since last time? And How do you feel your application has improved in terms of aligning it with the school values?
